On-Grid Rooftop System
In this system, the power generated using solar energy during the day can be consumed by appliances and devices in homes as per the need. The surplus solar electricity produced can be fed back to the grid. During night hours or cloudy weather or at the time when solar energy is not sufficient to fulfil our requirements, the power can be drawn from the grid.

The grid-tied rooftop solar system works on Net-Metering technology. Here we install a Bi-Directional electricity meter in your home or apartment. This meter records the power used, excess power exported to the grid and power imported from the grid.

If the electricity imported from the grid is higher than what you produced, you pay only for the difference. But, if you produced and fed more electricity to the grid than your utilization, the electricity board will pay you for the difference in units.

This way you can reduce your electricity bill and earn by producing more electricity.
